We just wrapped up the first stage of our Christmas Giving Project for 2023. Through the generous donations of our church family, we will be able to give many items to the Island Crisis Care Society for distribution to their clients this Christmas season. This small act of material giving goes a long way in spreading hope and care to those who are walking through some of life's most difficult challenges.

Many items have also been donated to Oceanside Christmas Wishes, which is helping families and seniors in need this Christmas. We've also heard that members of our congregation have stepped up to sponsor some of these families, covering needs and gifts either in whole or in part. This is so encouraging!

We are so thankful to all who contributed and continue to give. You are making a difference in the lives of so many people!

Can you help us reach for a stretch goal of helping to provide food hampers to all of the nominated OCW families? As a church, let's see how we can boost this local organization and fulfill our core value of Radical Generosity by helping as much as possible. In particular, food donations of canned goods (vegetables, fruits, beans), shelf stable items (pasta, spices, coffee, tea, crackers, soups etc.) potatoes, and turkeys are needed to help fill hampers for all families.

Please contact Selina at OCWdonations@gmail.com for more information. Donations are being collected until December 15th (Dec 13th if bringing to the church).
