Prayer Prompts for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
As our country pauses on September 30 to observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we invite you to spend some time in personal reflection and prayer using the prompts below. 1. Please pray for the healing of residential school survivors and their families from the generational trauma that they suffered from the residential school system. 2. Please pray for the healing of broken relationships between churches and First Nations leaders. 3. Please pray for the establishment of new life-giving Disciple-Making Communities across our nation that will lead the way in reconciliation and revival. ...that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19 |
