Oceanside Community Church has adopted an abuse prevention policy (through Plan to Protect) to protect the vulnerable people who attend our church. 

Abuse prevention training is required for all volunteers serving with vulnerable people (this includes people who are going to be serving in children's ministry, youth group, bible day camp, lifegroup leaders, etc.)

However, even if you don't intend to volunteer with kids or other vulnerable people right now, it's a great thing to have the training completed so you are ready to serve wherever and whenever God leads you, without any barriers in the way!
