Ideas or Ways You Can Help:

• If you’re a business owner or have connections with a business or work at a business, you can put a package together, products, services, swag, whatever
• Maybe you know people from a business who you feel comfortable asking: could be a golf course, place you frequent. See if they’d donate!
• If you have NEW items you can donate that you think would be valuable or could be put together with something for a package
• Maybe you have an AirBnB you want to offer up for a couple nights?
• Perhaps you’re an artist or baker and want to make something to auction off!
• Lastly, we do need desserts for the evening as well so let us know if you want to help!

We need all items by Wednesday, Sept. 25 at the latest.

The Lord continues to send people to Oceanside who are curious about Jesus.

We have 40+ people signed up for Alpha starting this Friday!

It's no surprise the Lord is sending people, because when we step out in faith and make room for more (both in our hearts and space!) as we have done, the Lord responds. We've seen this happen over and over again at Oceanside.

But it does come at a cost and this year has had several big surprises such as a brand new septic system and heat pump, both of which were urgent matters that we didn't plan for this year.

This has put us well over $100,000 behind this year. The good news is we have time to make up ground!

But it's going to take a lot of faith and generosity and a combination of large gifts and lots of small ones.

But remember that what we're doing and have done this year in necessary upgrades to our facilities will impact generations of Islanders!

Due to some schedule confusion, our monthly care home service takes place again this Sunday at Trillium Lodge. These short services include singing, scripture reading, prayer, and a short devotional. Service time is 2:15pm and runs for 45-60 mins.

Our fall Alpha course begins tomorrow!

We can't wait to welcome folks for these weekly sessions that examine life, faith, hope, and Jesus. Lives will be changed!

Registration for our popular Oceanside Men's Breakfast on October 5, 2024 is now open! This event is a great chance to meet some guys, enjoy a hot home cooked breakfast and get some spiritual nourishment. This is also a great invitational event, so bring a friend too!

Men of all ages are welcome.
