An Update from Paul

As you may have already heard, our Ministry Associate, Paul, announced on Sunday that he has transitioned from a paid staff role at Oceanside Community Church to a volunteer role. 

Paul will be retiring from his elementary school teaching day job at the end of the school year, and as part of this new season in life felt that this shift from staff member to volunteer would provide more freedom and flexibility to spend time with his family. Plus, this will be an opportunity to focus on finishing up his Master's in Pastoral Ministry at Carey Theological College.

Fear not though! Paul will still be an active part of our church team, plans to be at both Sunday services, and will continue to oversee Life Groups and Prayer Teams. You'll also still see him preaching regularly. He will, however, be stepping back from some administrative duties and the hospitality ministry.

Long story short, Paul isn't going anywhere, and you might not even notice things have changed!

We want to thank Paul for his time and contributions on staff and are very grateful that even though some things have changed, we get to continue working alongside each other in God's church.
