A Great Start to the Advent Season

This past Saturday, the women of Oceanside gathered in our church to share a meal, connect socially, and kick off our Christmas giving season by writing Christmas cards for seniors. A great time was had by all, and we want to celebrate the fact that 616 cards (!) were written, with many more were taken home for completion.

These cards will be delivered to local care homes, the residents of which may not get a high level of social interaction or connection with the outside community. What a great way to spread the hope of Jesus to our community, and to show these folks that they are loved and remembered.

Thank you to all the ladies at Oceanside who helped to make this happen on Saturday and, in some cases, continue to write more encouragement and blessings.
