Important Announcement Regarding In-Person Worship Gatherings:
(read the e-newsletter announcement HERE)
Dear Church,We hoped this day would not come, but we've been informed that indoor gatherings, including worship services, are temporarily suspended until at least January 7.We are of course disappointed as we believe strongly in the importance of worshipping in person together for people's spiritual, emotional, mental, and social well-being. And we believe we were doing things in a safe and responsible manner that kept people very safe. However, the church will persevere and will not be shaken, and we will do what is needed to protect our community.
So what will we do? Check our website for up-to-date information, but for at least the next weeks, we'll turn our focus and attention to our livestream worship and "gather together" virtually until we can meet again. Here's the plan to keep us connected (at least for this week!):
We will livestream the service at 10am (new time!)
We'll join you from the sanctuary and potentially other places for worship through song, prayer, preaching, kids segments, videos, and more! You can join us and interact live on our Facebook, YouTube, or website pages.
The service will then of course be available anytime on those platforms, but join us live if you can as there's something special about joining together in real time!
And our "lobby fellowship" on FB Live is back! Join us before the service at 9:45am.
So where do we go from here? This news is still fresh so we don't really know, but we know God is good and faithful and the calling on His church and His saints to persevere in worship together (in whatever way we can) does not change!
