DESCRIPTION:Oceanside Community Church has adopted an abuse prevention poli
 cy (through Plan to Protect) to protect the vulnerable people who attend 
 our church. Having these policies in place builds trust with our community
 \, and a high standard of care will show our community that our church is 
 a safe space and that ministry personnel and volunteers are safe people.\n
 Abuse prevention training is required for all volunteers serving with vuln
 erable people (this includes people who are going to be serving in childr
 en's ministry\, youth group\, bible day camp\, lifegroup leaders\, etc.)\n
 However\, even if you don't intend to volunteer with kids or other vulnera
 ble people right now\, it's a great thing to have the training completed 
 so you are ready to serve wherever and whenever God leads you\, without an
